Jessica Lucas' 2013 started off a little down. Costarring in the highly anticipated television series Cult, which debuted on February 19, it was canceled a few weeks later on April 10. The remaining 13-week episodes of the series were aired by CW later in the year. But being in a show that had to be cancelled before the premiere isn't good. On the upside, her film career seemed to be improving in leaps and bounds. In That Awkward Time, which was released in the beginning of 2014, Jessica Lucas played the lawyer and wife to American actor Michael B. Jordan. The actress is having an affair with her husband, and is obviously the upper hand in their relationship. Lucas's performance is outstanding throughout the film, particularly since the buddy movie mostly revolves around three main characters. As mentioned earlier she is also the one who owns the stage in a handful of scenes during the Paul W.S. Anderson period action-adventure film Pompeii. Shenae Grinsey, AnnaLynne McCord or Jessica Stroup quickly joined her for 4 episodes on 90210. In 2009, she was a part in the highly-successful revival of the popular 1990s TV show Melrose Place as Riley Richmond an adorable elementary school teacher.
