Julie Chen Moonves will host the reality series that is a huge hit in summer, Big Brother. The show will return to CBS on August 5 for its 2nd season. Chen Moonves has been a part of The Talk since 2010, when she was both the host and the moderator. The real love of her life was writing, and she received an Emmy. Then she won a second Emmy for her role as host of an outstanding entertainment talk program. The Talk examines contemporary events using the perspective of five female hosts. Chen Moonves hosted CBS News' early morning news broadcast The Early Show for a 10 years. Prior to that, she was the CBS Morning News anchor and the host of The Early Show. She was dispatched to Cairo in the aftermath of 9/11, and she conducted an exclusive and riveting discussion with the father who was the primary hijacker.
